I am very proud to say that I have brought to Helping Hands Daycare, not one, but three children (currently ages 2, 6 and 9 yrs of age).
One of the most difficult decisions a mother can make, is 'who' to leave your children with when you first go back to work. But from the first moment I walked through the doors, I knew that this bright, sunny, warm environment was the place for me. Instinctively I knew that the staff at Helping Hands were going to give my kids the best care possible and over the years I found this to be true.
I've been through all of the rooms (from the infant room to the school-age room) and I can tell you that it's the personal touches that really set Helping Hands apart from the rest; the Christmas concert, the summer picnic, and the warmth you feel when you know all the teachers and each of them knows your kids.
To this day, even though my older 2 kids are in school full time, they still ask to come with me to pick up their baby brother... So they can see the teachers, get reacquainted with Skittles (the bunny) and say a quick 'hello' to Brenda.
Thank you, Helping Hands… for giving me the gift of peace of mind.
And for the millions of smiles and hugs you've given to my kids.
We have been bringing our kids to Helping Hands daycare for the last 4 years. The staff at Helping Hands has always provided a caring, loving, safe, fun and educational environment for our children. Helping hands has been more than a daycare to our children, it has been like a second family. As a parent selecting an appropriate daycare is a very important decision, we find peace of mind everyday leaving our kids in the care of Helping Hands.

Brenda, this sites supervisor has been with us for years starting off as our Toddler RECE. She was instrumental in starting our Intergenerational program which allows Seniors from a local nursing home to visit monthly and take part in daily activities with the children. The children love it when their 'Gramma's and Grampa's' visit!
This is our 'animal lovers' centre. It's not uncommon to arrive and find a new pet at the centre, whether its a rescued bunny or a big fat hampster. The staff are warm and welcoming adding to that homey, warm feeling that you get when you walk in the door.
