School Age
Our School age ratio is 1:15 This group can kick back and relax or socialize with others their age. They have their own space away from the little ones and can really unwind from a full day of school. They can feel safe and secure with friends they know.
Infant & Toddler
Infant Room:
Our Teacher Child Ratio for the Infant room is 1:3. We have a bright and cheerful infant room that has many bright and age appropriate toys to play with in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. We ensure that each of them have the attention and cuddles little ones need so much. A clean and child safe area just for them to explore.
Toddler room
Our Teacher Child Ratio is 1:5. This group is busy and loves to learn through play. We have just the space and activities to entertain this fast growing group. Nap time in the afternoon leaves them energized for more. Come see how much fun your toddler will have here.
Preschool & Kindergarten
Preschool Room
Our Teacher Child Ratio is 1:8. This age group is looking for more independence and getting geared up for school. They learn many of the skills and routines that allow them to transition well into school. They are social and make long time friends at this stage. We have the perfect developmental toys, games and activities for this eager and energetic group.
Kindergarten
Our Teacher Child Ratio is 1:10 This social group really enjoy each others company and find our center a great place to unwind from schools busy schedule. We enjoy group activities and imaginative play. We look forward to hearing about their day. School transportation is available.

My son has been in the Jr Pre-school room at Helping Hands for 8 months now and he loves it! In the morning he can't wait to have snack and get his snuggles from Justine and Angie. When I go to pick him up he is often not ready to leave as he is too busy playing. I am so glad they opened Helping Hands in my neighbourhood!
Our son has been part of the Courtice Daycare since their first week of operation. This was our first experience with an organized daycare and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Each day Ben comes home we are sure to hear I had a good day and he is full of smiles wanting to tell us all about it. The staff has been absolutely amazing and I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of our son when we cant be with him.

Tracy
Tracy is our long time supervisor at this site. She started off, many, many years ago in Pickering and has been at the realm as supervisor for years at Brooklin and now Courtice. We are very proud of this centre, as we are of all of them, but this one has a bit of a back story. We actually stepped into this location after another daycare had closed it's doors. So, with hard work and determination by the staff , it is thriving now,and is very special to all of us. This site also has a pet bunny, who lives in a spacious cage in our Kindergarten room. Their outdoor pets are the cows from the farm nextdoor!!!!!
