Life has changed over the years, back when we were children it was much more common to have a "stay at home" mom, now life has changed and more and more women have to or choose to work instead of staying at home to raise the children.
This brings us to a very big issue, finding child care that is up to a parents standards. I know for me it was the hardest thing I had to do. If I couldn't be at home to teach and protect my children then who was I going to find that was going to be good enough. My search included over 25 daycare's, private home daycare as well as centres in our area. I did not find one that I could say without a doubt I would feel good about leaving the most important thing in my life there. The hunt continued until I found "Helping Hands Daycare in Pickering. I was hesitant at first because I live in Ajax and it was quite a distance away however I thought I would look just to compare. Once I walked through the doors it was love at first sight. I continued through the halls on my tour meeting the teachers and seeing the interaction with the children and I knew in that very moment that I had found the place I could feel good about leaving my children. I spent 4 Years commuting to Pickering with my children until this year when Helping Hands opened a new location minutes from my house at Westney Rd and Fairall, Since I have transferred my children to the new location in Ajax we still receive excellent care and the benefit is, it is minutes from our house. The care and support that not only my children received but also me and my husband as we worked together to raise our children was second to none. The attention and motherly treatment they receive from Helping Hands along with respect and discipline has helped mould my children in to respectable, confident children that integrated into the school system with ease thanks to the guidance they received. Thank you Helping Hands for everything you do.
