Schoolage

School AgeOur School age ratio is 1:15 This group can kick back and relax or socialize with others their age. They have their own space away from the little ones and can really unwind from a full day of school. They can feel safe and secure with friends they know.

Infant & Toddler

Infant Room:Our Teacher Child Ratio for the Infant room is 1:3. We have a bright and cheerful infant room that has many bright and age appropriate toys to play with in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. We ensure that each of them have the attention and cuddles little ones need so much. A clean and child safe area just for them to explore. Toddler roomOur Teacher Child Ratio is 1:5. This group is busy and loves to learn through play. We have just the space and activities to entertain this fast growing group. Nap time in the afternoon leaves them energized for more. Preschool & Kindergarten

Preschool RoomOur Teacher Child Ratio is 1:8. This age group is looking for more independence and getting geared up for school. They learn many of the skills and routines that allow them to transition well into school. They are social and make long time friends at this stage. We have the perfect developmental toys, games and activities for this eager and energetic group.KindergartenOur Teacher Child Ratio is 1:10 This social group really enjoy each others company and find our center a great place to unwind from schools busy schedule. We enjoy group activities and imaginative play. We look forward to hearing about their day. School transportation is available.

My son loves going there and sometimes he wants to stay even longer, which makes me feel better, knowing that while I am working, he is very happy little boy.Mother of Zachery Our son has been going to Helping Hands for three years and has been shown the highest level of care we could hope for as parents.He started out at the Pickering Rougemount location where he was for 2 years and we have such fond memories of his time there from the infant room right up to the Junior room. He has now been with the Ajax Location on Ashbury for almost a year and the same level of care and respect has been shown to us here. From their everday interaction with our son to the highest professionalism in dealing with his food allergies, they are very organized and truly do care. The rooms are spotless, the staff is warm and loving and the care is exceptional. I would hightly recommend Helping Hands daycare to anyone who is looking for a daycare provider, you will not be disappointed.

I have worked for Helping Hands for 11 years. I enjoy working with the children and familes that attend our centres. Lakeisde is a family oriented community, and many of our families walk or ride there bikes to the centre.

Our Annual Christmas Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Ajax High School. Come and enjoy all the performances by all the children!!! Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Welcome to our beautiful centre by the lake. This unique spot allows many families to walk or bike to the centre. We have infant spaces available for December 2011 and January 2012.
